This program is open to:

Current freshman and sophomores (students who have enough credits to qualify as juniors, but won’t be graduating until sometime between May 2024 and August 2025, are also eligible)
Citizens or permanent residents of the United States
Students who demonstrate leadership potential and high academic performance

Scholarship winners will receive a $2,500.00 scholarship per year for two years, be paired with a mentor from Cargill for each of the two years, and participate in two fully funded leadership seminars where they will get to learn from leaders at Cargill and meet their fellow Cargill Scholars from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, and the U.S. More information about the program is available on our website.

The Cargill Global Scholars Program, a unique scholarship and leadership development opportunity for high-achieving freshmen and sophomore students studying in a field relevant to Cargill's world of food, agriculture, science, sustainability, and business is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 application cycle.

The Cargill Global Scholars Program is a 2-year scholarship and enrichment program providing financial support, mentorship, and the unique opportunity for U.S. college students to travel to two leadership development seminars, including meeting fellow Global Scholars from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and Russia. Please review the attached PDF for details on eligibility requirements.

To register to start an application, please visit the Apply Here section of the program’s website and click on the link for the U.S. application. The application submission deadline is Thursday, March 5, 2020.
