How to Make your ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Affordable

Apply for scholarships

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has a number of scholarships available for graduate and undergraduate students in the college. Scholarship applications are due November 1 for spring programs, March 1 for summer programs, and May 1 for fall programs. There are also scholarships and grants available trough Iowa State University as well as other outside sources (research these opportunity on your own).

To apply for a CALS-sponsored scholarship:ÌýWhen applying for any study abroad program through ISUAbroad, as a CALS student, you will need to click on the "CALS ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Scholarship Application Information" link within the application, read the content in the dialogue box and click on the link provided to apply for scholarships.

Taking a Family Member?

With permission, spouses and/or dependents are allowed to travel with faculty program directors on study abroad programs.Ìý For further information, please contact Jodi CornellÌý(515-294-1851)

The faculty program director is responsible for all expenses associated with spouses/dependents.

If spouse/dependent expenses are included in group expenses, those costs must be reimbursed to the study abroad program account.
