Salma Sultana, the 2020 Borlaug Field Award winner, has made groundbreaking contributions to international agriculture, particularly in Bangladesh, where she has championed veterinary outreach, treatment, and education for small-scale farmers. She is the founder of the Model Livestock Advancement Foundation and the Model Livestock Institute and Veterinary Hospital, providing crucial support to rural communities. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Asian Scientists by Asian Scientist Magazine.
