The American Farm School - Perrotis College Summer Program and U.S. Virgin Islands - EARTH Program summer study abroad programs have applications due March 1st.
Abe Dieleman, a sophomore in agronomy, is spending the spring semester studying at Perrotis College, part of the American Farm School, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Dieleman is part of a group of 12 students participating in the ISU CALS ²ÝÁñÉçÇø program, which also includes fellow agronomy student Nali Sanchez Carmona.

International experiences changed graduating senior for the better, Grace Reiss

Growing up in the small, rural community of Ryan, Iowa, Grace Reiss knew she wanted to gain international experience while in college. She has met that goal, and along the way, her outgoing and friendly personality has fostered a welcoming environment at Iowa State University and around the world.
All educational and research programs at the American Farm School are supported by the large-cale Educational Farm that includes the Holstein Friesian dairy herd that is ranked among the top 10% in the world; a poultry unit using the latest research for Omega 3 egg, broiler and turkey production; greenhouses; vegetable gardens; vineyards; fruit and olive trees; and extensive field crops at its satellite farm to the west of Thessaloniki.
